Push the Envelope

“A lot of people might see this as they’re changing their businesses to run in a way that they’re not used to or they’re not comfortable with or whether it’s different from the way they’ve done it before. But the truth is, your businesses have to run at a level of efficiency that you have probably never contended with your entire professional life in order to deal with the current situation. So why would want to give up when this ‘go back to normal’? If anything, I said this is an opportunity to even push the limit further.”

Summary:

We have an incredible opportunity right now to change how we operate our businesses for the better. When things “go back to normal” we may not be able to go back to the practices we’ve become accustomed to. In fact, it may be a competitive necessity to radically change how we run our businesses remotely or with a reduced staff.

[1:08] You have an opportunity right now to hone your efficiency.

[2:24] When it’s over, it’s really not going to be “over.”

[3:10] You can push the limit of change to better your business.

[4:35] Companies that push the envelope now are going to radically change how they operate in the long-term.

[5:23] Treat this as a productivity experiment.

[5:52] Experiment with new tools and CRM platforms.

[6:49] Don’t ever be irreplaceable.
